Here are a couple photos sent by Rick and John from Reno.

We had high winds in the valley today so I took my clients Bob & Ed up to Eagle Canyon for the day. Conditions were much nicer up there, with light winds and lots of sun. Fishing was very tough in the morning, with just three fish coming on black leeches and no fish eating nymphs. Fishing improved after lunch, with the best time being from 1 to 3:30pm. We landed numerous fish from 5 to 10 pounds on various nymphs, but the best one by far was a brown rubberlegs.
December 30, 2011: family fun
Fishing was great at Eagle Canyon today. Clint and I guided Dave & Holly and their sons Luke and Jake. They've been on an extended trip, sampling the Lower Sac, Trinity, and now Eagle Canyon. It was Luke's birthday and the fish seemed to know it. He caught one of our truly large fish, a rainbow about 15#. Many other fish were landed out of both ponds. Our best fly was a size 8 brown jimmy legs.
